Staff Recognition Scheme

Once every half-term, each school's Senior Leadership Team nominate one employee who has not only gone above and beyond daily expectations, but also embodied the Trust's values of Courage, Teamwork and Dedication.

Successful nominees receive a £200 One4All gift card as a token of appreciation for their ongoing commitment to their work and to school life. SLT Staff submit a nomination by completing a Staff Recognition Form.

Summer Term 2 - 2024

Lisa Beach
Thames Valley School 


 

Lisa has played key roles in organising important events for Thames Valley School's pupils and their families. She provided huge amounts of support for the organisation of the Summer Fayre which was a great success.
Lisa communicates with staff, co-ordinates individuals and quietly works away in the background to ensure that everyone feels supported.
Lisa also provides support to the staff team and SLT at Thames Valley School, keeping everyone's spirits high. She is an exceptionally organised and thorough individual, and the School feel lucky to have her!

 

Alan Johnson
Vanguard School
 

 

Alan won the award for Teamwork. He recently successfully won a bid for £3,000 for books for the students at Vanguard School.
Alan has shown they he is willing to go the extra mile to drive excellence in Education for autistic children and Young people.
 

Ian Smith
Church Lawton School
 
Ian won the award for Teamwork. He has demonstrated unwavering dedication in creating a high-quality exam environment for students at Church Lawton School. Ian worked diligently to ensure that all aspects of the exam process were meticulously planned and executed. His attention to detail ensured that each student had access to the necessary resources, from adequate exam materials to appropriate accommodations for those requiring special support. His proactive communication and organisational skills not only reduced stress for students but also allowed them to focus entirely on achieving their best. Thanks to Ian’s tireless efforts, Church Lawton School has seen consistently positive exam results, with students thriving in an environment that promotes fairness and success. His role has been pivotal in the school’s academic achievements, and his contribution continues to be instrumental in maintaining high standards for future cohorts.

Summer Term 1 - 2024

Hannah Irwin
Thames Valley School
 

Hannah won the award for Determination. Over the summer term, Hannah has consistently showed high levels of dedication and commitment to ensure the pupils at Thames Valley School received a high quality education, particularly within Maths. She has used her initiative to implement additional intervention sessions for pupils who may need pre-teaching or topics refreshing, but also to extend the learning of some. Hannah ensures she keeps in communication with form tutors and class teachers to consider how she can support further.
Hannah is also the first one to sign up to training opportunities within school and put herself forward to ensure she has the best possible skills and knowledge to guide our pupils, recently undertaking Mental Health First Aid.

 

Davide Ponzo
Vanguard School
 

Davide won the award for Teamwork. His efforts in supporting the Art curriculum at Vanguard School, specifically the graphics work has been outstanding.

He is always looking toward how he can add value to the learning and develop engagement for the learner. As a relatively new member of staff he has really set the pace!
