Careers Guidance

The resources below provide links to a range of tools that support careers guidance in schools.

Each school ensures a localised approach to careers guidance, which supports the next stages in education, employment, or training, according to the skills, needs and aspirations of each individual student.

Career Ready is a social mobility charity, which brings together networks of employers, educators and volunteers to support all children and young people – but particularly those who are vulnerable to underachievement.  The site offers free resources, including assembly ideas and classroom activities, all of which are mapped against the Gatsby Benchmarks.

The following models are taken from The SEND Gatsby Benchmark Toolkit as an illustration of the type of support that may be needed for children and young people, according to their career pathways and anticipated qualifications.
