Gender Pay Gap

Employers with 250 or more employees must publish their figures comparing men and women’s average pay across the organisation.

At Liberty, we do not currently have 250 employees across the Trust; however, we are committed to ensuring equality across the workplace.  Therefore, we choose to publish our Gender Pay Gap figures.

Gender Pay Gap figures for reporting year 2023-24 (full report coming soon):

Our median gender pay gap is 9.1 percent, and our mean gender pay gap is 7.2 percent - ie the average hourly rate of pay for men is 7.2 percent higher than the average hourly rate of pay for women.

For the purposes of comparison, the Office for National Statistics estimates that across the UK as a whole in 2023, the median gender pay gap was 14.3 percent and the mean gender pay gap was 13.2 percent.
